Royal Enfield sets foot in South Korea - sales, service and spares operations commenced

Royal Enfield motorcycles have announced their entry in the South Korean market. The Indian motorcycle maker, Royal Enfield, has set up their first store in Seoul at Hannam-daero 42-gil, where the company will cater to its customer's sales, spares and service needs. The company also has its range of gears, apparels and accesories in store.

Royal Enfield has entered in the middle-weight segment of the South Korean motorcycle market with four products - Bullet 500cc, Classic 500cc, Classic Chrome 500 and the Himalayan. The Royal Enfield Bullet 500cc is priced at 5,500,000 won (Rs 3,36,039), Royal Enfield Classic will cost 5,950,000 won (Rs 3,63,533) and the Royal Enfield Classic Chrome 500cc is priced at 6,200,000 won (Rs 3,78,808). The Royal Enfield Himalayan retails at 4,950,000 won (Rs 3,02,435) in the South Korean market.

Commenting on the launch of Royal Enfield at the exclusive store in Korea, Vimal Sumbly, APAC Business Head, said, "Our focus is to sustain and expand our reach in International markets especially in Asia Pacific region.
