Its that time of the month when our latest issue hits the stands. This time too, we have lots of exciting drives, tests, comparos, rides and features to fuel your need of speed for all of the month. November heralds the arrival of winter season and the festival of lights, Diwali. Needless to say, we have a cracker of an issue waiting for you.

Manufacturers have left no stone unturned in seeing that their respective showrooms receive the maximum attendance from customers this month. Mahindra and Mahindra are out with their first SsangYong product in India, the Rexton W. This is the company's first go at the world of executive premium lifestyle luxury and have they done it in style. Bert gives the low-down about this fine new product that will compete with the established players in the segment like Fortuner, Endeavour and Santa Fe. The best seller in its segment is back, the Maruti Alto, with a new heart. Will the 800cc engine, new looks and refreshed interiors tug at the common man's purse strings this festive season? Ashok finds out with the first drive of the Alto 800.

Though it may not look like it but the Safari Storme is an all-new product from Tata Motors. The old Safari had quite a cult following but will the new one be able to maintain the status or has Tata been a bit late in this department? Bert answers these questions in his first drive. Mahindra's second launch of the season, the mini-Xylo was quite in the news for the entire affordable tech that it sported plus the compact dimensions. But, are things really all that black and white with this compact SUV? Rishaad finds out if it has the goods to meet the expectations with a road test. Speaking of compacts, there is one more compact which tugs at your heart and purse strings, the Maruti Ertiga. Will the Quanto demolish the Ertiga's dominance? Alan seeks the answers.

Last month, we had checked the Eon's fuel efficiency at the VRDE track. This month, we did a real world test. So, "kitna deti hain?". Read the issue to find out. Now, Ashok had been long grumbling about taking the Impulse off-road. After all, isn't that what its built for. He gets an opportunity but giving him some company in this muddy battle are accomplished off-roaders like the Thar, Gypsy and two ATVs- Sportsman and Ranger. The Swish is our current favourite of the Indian automatic scooter heap. With the launch of the Yamaha Ray, it is but time to defend the title again, then. Shumi finds out which automatic scooter should you put your money on. Royal Enfield rolls out the most significant upgrade to their Thunderbird. Is it all bling or rather chrome and no show? Shumi has the answer to it. TVS has been lying low for quite some time and now we know why. They had an all-new 125cc crusader in the wings aptly named the Phoenix. Is it just a rehashed Flame or what? Well, you know where to look for the answer.

If you think that's all, then you are mistaken, we have all the automotive news from India (imagine about 11-12 launches) and abroad (Paris Motor Show). Plus we have all the happenings from the world of Indian and international motorsport. So, what are you waiting for? Go grab your copy today or subscribe to receive one at your doorstep.
