2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed launched in India
A few months after its global unveiling, Bentley has launched the 2013 Continental GT Speed in India. Powered by a mammoth 625PS 6.0-litre W12 twin-turbocharged engine which makes a huge 800Nm of torque, the fastest-ever Bentley made, the Continental GT Speed goes from 0-100kmph in only a claimed 4.2 seconds, all the way to a top whack of 330kmph. An 8-speed automatic ZF gearbox transmission along with a Torsen centre differential helps the Bentley put all this power effectively to the road. Bentley also claims that the fuel economy is now 13 per cent more than its predecessor.
Bentley has lowered the suspension of the Continental GT Speed to reduce the body roll and also fitted it with 21 inch wheels. Complementing its high speed cruising abilities are aids like aquaplane detection, EBD, traction control, ABS, Drag Torque Control and Hydraulic Brake Assistance. The interiors, as always are bespoke with Mulliner Driving Specification and premium grade hide with a choice of 17 colours.
Bentley is yet to announce prices of the Continental GT Speed.
