2013 Detroit Auto Show: Volkswagen Passat performance concept

This is no regular Passat. Say hello to the Passat Performance Concept. Revealed at the Detroit Auto Show 2013, the concept looks pretty much identical to the regular Passat except for the big 19-inch wheels and the carbon fibre bits thrown in here and there. The insides too have guest appearances from carbon with all new leather. But the big change is under the hood. At the heart of this baby is the 1.8 TSI motor similar to the one that delivers 160 horses in the Skoda Laura. Not impressed? What if we told you that this particular TSI is tuned to deliver 250PS? Don't get too excited yet, this car is still a concept. Keep praying.
