2013 Geneva Auto Show: Skoda Octavia
Skoda CEO Winfried Vahland unveiled their third generation Octavia at the Geneva Auto Show 2013. In typical Octavia fashion the new car offers that little bit extra. This is in the form of better space inside the cabin. Based on the Volkswagen group MQB platform the car is both longer and wider that the outgoing model and offers the most interior space in its class. It will also feature a host of new safety kit like lane assist, multicollision-braking and 'driver activity assistant' all designed to help avoid accidents or reduce the damage if one occurs. The Octavia lineup will be available with no less than eight different engine options - four petrol and four diesels. The exciting news is that there is an RS version in the pipeline too.
