2013 updated Nissan Evalia launched in India at Rs 9.16 lakh
Nissan has updated its Evalia for the Indian market. The refreshed Evalia will be available in six variants with prices starting from Rs 9.16 lakh , ex-Mumbai. While there are no changes in the 86PS/200Nm 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine and 5-speed manual gearbox, the Evalia has undergone several cosmetic revisions. The exterior changes are limited to 14in wheels for the first four trims. The top two trims get 15in alloys as well as a rear washer, wiper and defogger. Inside the cabin, for the high-end trims (XV and XV option), Nissan has provided captain seats in the middle row. The upholstery has also been reworked and there is an anti-glare inside mirror, 2-DIN audio system and most important of all, a sliding middle-row window. A second row set of blowers, Nissan says, will be an optional dealer fitment.
The Evalia refresh can be seen in a different light considering the recent launch of the ALL Stile. The Evalia as a product could never cut it with the top MUVs in the segment such as the Innova, Ertiga and Xylo.
