BMW has just launched the new 7 Series Active Hybrid in India at Rs 1.35 crore, ex-showroom. A 320PS six-cylinder petrol engine coupled with a 55PS electric motor powers the 7 Series Active Hybrid. With the 8-speed automatic transmission, BMW claims that this luxobarge can hit the tonne in 5.7s on pure electric mode and can also run 13.85km on the odo before needing a refuel.
