2014 Range Rover to be available with a base V6 engine

Land Rover has confirmed that the 2014 Range Rover will be available with a base V6 engine. The new 3.0-litre supercharged motor which also powers the XF and XJ makes 340PS of power and 450Nm of torque. The 2014 Range Rover will continue to be offered with the 510PS V8 engine also.

In the Range Rover V6, an eight-speed automatic transmission will send power to all the four wheels. JLR claims a 0-100kmph time of 7.1 seconds and a top whack of 214kmph. Amongst the standard features is the stop-start technology which claims to enhance the fuel efficiency, which translates to an overall figure of 7.65kmpl.
