2014 TVS Wego launched in India at Rs 48,857
TVS showcased an updated Wego at the Auto Expo 2014. Post the launch of Suzuki's first 110cc scooter, the Let's, TVS has launched the new Wego in India. The new Wego is priced at Rs 48,857 for the drum variant while the disc equipped scooter retails for Rs 49,580, ex-Mumbai. There has been no change in the price despite the equipment on offer.

Changes to the updated Wego include new two tone colours, snazzy graphics, black alloy wheels and engine parts, redesigned seat, exhaust from the Jupiter, econometer, brake clamp, LED tail lamp and a digital speedometer. TVS has also used this opportunity to slip in the 110cc CVT-i engine from the Jupiter into the Wego. The engine gets a higher compression ratio and remapped ignition to help with easy cold starts. The revised ignition also helps with improved combustion. Other changes to the motor include a new piston with less friction thereby adding to the durability. The new TVS Wego makes 8PS of power and 8Nm of torque. TVS claims a fuel efficiency of 62kmpl for the Wego, second only to the Let's 63kmpl.
