The Italian company currently has two other scooters apart from the Vespa S - Vespa and Vespa VX.

The Vespa S is powered by a familiar powertrain borrowed from the other two scooters. Its 3-valve 125cc engine produces 10.06PS and 10.6Nm of power and torque respectively. This engine is mated to a CVT transmission.

The company claims a fuel efficiency of over 60kmpl.

The Vespa S is made of a steel body monocoque and uses a trailing link front suspension and dual effect shockers at the rear. It also gets the VX's front disc brake and a rear drum.

Visual differences from the other Vespas currently sold in the country include a rectangular headlamp and rear view mirrors. The alloys and the engine are also coated with black colour. An analogue speedometer, digital clock and a fuel gauge along with the usual tell tale lights complete the instrument cluster. Vespa claims to have improved the seat for a more comfortable ride.
