The showstopper of Mahindra's stall at the 2016 Auto Expo was the XUV Aero Concept. Based on the XUV500, this concept has been designed by Pininfarina and gets a driver side suicide door and a coupe-like rear similar to the BMW X6 and the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450AMG Coupe. The XUV Aero Concept is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk engine which can produce 210PS and 410Nm of torque. Mahindra says that it can attain a 0-100kmph run in under six seconds.
Mahindra also showcased the Ssangyong Tivoli compact SUV which is expected to reach our shores this year. The e Verito also graced Mahindra's stand at the Auto Expo and is likely to reach showrooms by the end of March this year. Overall, the e20 Sport was one electric vehicle that attracted a fair amount of attention with its wide body kit and racing bucket seats.
