2019 BMW S 1000 RR India launch live updates, details, specifications, engines, launch date, price and features
BMW Motorrad is launching its all-new litre-class superbike, the S 1000 RR in India shortly, regarded as one of the most advanced superbikes on the planet. The new generation S 1000 RR is a full-generation change over last year's bike and gets a new chassis, engine, suspension and more, as also some of the newest technologies in the superbike world, including variable valve timing. We've already ridden the motorcycle a few months ago at the Estoril race circuit in Portugal and the bike gets launched in India today! Here's all the updates from the launch event:

The new BMW Motorrad S 1000 RR has been launched in three trims, priced at ₹ 18.5 lakh for the standard version, ₹ 20.95 lakh for the Pro version and 22.95 lakh for the Pro M-Sport version.

The 2019 BMW Motorrad S1000RR also uses a new chassis, swingarm and rear subframe and the bike weighs 11kg lesser than its predecessor overall!
The BMW Motorrad S 1000 RR was launched originally in 2009 and became the best seller in the litre-class superbike almost overnight and has pretty much ruled the segment over the past 10 years.
Future plans also include a foray into road racing in India, says BMW Motorrad! That sounds exciting!
The BMW Motorrad Safaris are doing well and garnering a huge response from customers across the country too we’re told.
