24 Hours in OVERDRIVE with Audi on December 22-23 at Kari Motor Speedway
We're not going to be racing against other cars.
We're not going to be racing against time either.
It's just going to be us in two Audi cars on a racetrack. Before you write this off as another racetrack event, allow us to draw your attention to the fact that these are not racecars designed for the track but your regular road cars one diesel and one petrol. And oh, just so you know, we're going to be keeping the engines running, lap after lap on the circuit, for a full 24 hours. In the dead of winter. Just. Because. We can.
Yes, team OVERDRIVE in collaboration with Audi, JK Tyre and Mobil1 will be taking some of the country's finest drivers (that includes racers and of course, us here at OVERDRIVE), putting them in a couple of sweet road-legal A3 sedans and heading out to the Kari Motor Speedway to relive the thrill of 24-hour endurance tests a tradition that's become synonymous with Audi for quite a while now. We're not new to the experience ourselves, after having completed a 24-hour challenge in Hyundai Vernas on the VRDE proving grounds at Ahmednagar earlier this year and in a Maruti Alto, a little before that.
But what happens when you take rather capable drivers like us and put them in even more capable machines? Join us at the racetrack in Coimbatore on December 22, 5pm onwards. We suggest you load up on all that caffeine so you can keep your eyes peeled for all the 24-hour spanning action.
