Alan Mulally to stay through 2014 with Ford

Contrary to popular beliefs, Ford has announced that its dynamic CEO Alan Mulally will still be spearheading the company's operations through 2014. Mulally, who has been credited with Ford's revival was supposed to retire by the end of this year. Ford president for North America Mark Fields has been moved up to chief operating officer's position and is now responsible for all the business operations. Joe Heinrichs moves in to fill Fields' shoes while John Lawler will be the new CEO of Ford China.
