Andrea Baldi takes over as head, Asia Pacific for Lamborghini
Automobili Lamborghini recently announced the appointment of its new head of Asia Pacific region, Andrea Baldi.The industrial and management engineering graduate has been with Lamborghini since 2010 and previously was head of China market for the company. In a career spanning nearly 13 years, the 38-year old has worked with Ducati, where he held the position of area manager Asia Pacific, before joining Lamborghini.
Baldi's responsibilities will include the company's sales, marketing and after sales operations in Asia Pacific. What this means for India as part of this region is yet to be seen.
The brand celebrated its 50th anniversary year last year with the launch of the Veneno Coupé, the Egoista and the Veneno Roadster. The Huracán LP 610-4, which made its world debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show is expected to come to India in a month or two. Originally from Italy and 38 years old, Baldi has a University degree in Industrial and Management Engineering. Baldi began his career in 2001 with Ducati where he covered different positions up to Area Manager Asia Pacific.
