Aston Martin to celebrate its 100th anniversary in style
Aston Martin which started its operations in 1913 is celebrating its 100 years starting this January 15 with a host of events in North America and Europe. For the same events, the company has also made a special centenary logo which will commemorate the past and future.
On January 15, there will be a plaque placed at the company's original base at London's Henniker Mews. This will be followed by a separate event in London which will have the reenactment of Lionel Martin. Both these events will have the new Aston Martin Vanquish and the A3 prototype cars. There will also be celebrations including a 1,000 car show (the biggest congregation of Aston cars) and a drive through England with a James-Bond inspired theme till January 21 at Gaydon, Aston's current headquarters.
