BMW 3 Series GT Shadow Edition launched in India, priced at Rs 42.50 lakh
BMW India has launched the limited edition BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition in India. This petrol-only offering is priced at Rs 42.50 lakh, ex-showroom. Bookings can be made online on the new BMW online sales channel. This allows buyers a full 360-degree view of the car, along with guidance from a dealer representative, followed by home delivery of the vehicle.
The Shadow Edition is equipped with the M Sport design package. This gives it sportier bumpers and wheels and other exterior embellishments. Specific to this special edition is the gloss-black grille element, LED
headlights and taillights with a dark shadow finish and jet black 18-inch alloy wheels. Notable design elements on the inside are aluminium door sill plates, key with M logo, M sports leather steering wheel and chromed air vents. The interiors are finished in an all-black colour palette with chrome accents. Four exterior colour options are available.
Notable features on the 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition are frameless doors, an active rear spoiler, powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, two-zone air-conditioning, electrical seat adjustment for driver and front passenger and an 8.8-inch infotainment screen with Apple Carplay.
The 330i GT on which this version is based is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol motor that makes 252PS at 5,200 rpm and 350 Nm at 1,450 to 4,800 rpm. This pairs with an eight-speed torque-convertor automatic. The certified fuel efficiency number is 13.95 kmpl. A launch control function is also on offer, along with braking-enabled cruise control. Safety tech includes eight airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, runflat tyres and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition is available with BMW's maintenance packages starting from Rs 39,530 for three years/40,000 km.
