BMW F 850 GS Adventure launched in India at Rs 15.40 lakh, ex-showroom
BMW Motorrad has launched the F 850 GS Adventure in India, priced at Rs 15.40 lakh, ex-showroom. This premium offering in the ADV space will compete with the liked of the Honda Africa Twin, Ducati Multistrada 950 and also the Triumph Tiger 800 XCA. BMW Motorrad dealerships across the country have already started accepting bookings for the motorcycle, which are brought into the country through the CBU form. We believe the deliveries should commence in the next few weeks. The BMW F 850 Adventure GS is available only with the Style Rallye package that includes Lupine Blue metallic including tapes in Racing red uni or Light white uni or Blackstorm metallic under paintwork, sporty windshield, golden anodised rim rings and golden anodised upper front fork tube.
The BMW 850 GS Adevnture comes equipped with LED daytime riding light and LED turn indicators. Additionallt, it comes with low double seat, wide enduro footrests, adjustable shift and foot brake levers and center stand. The ADV comes with high-positioned air intake, higher ground clearance to highlight the off-road attributes. The visual appeal is emphasized by equipment features such as engine protection bars and stainless steel luggage rack. Powering the all-new BMW F 850 GS Adventure is a two-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 853cc which generates 95PS at 8,250rpm. It comes with the two riding modes Rain and Road as standard. Also included in the standard features is the ASC automatic stability control, which ensures a high degree of rider safety. Riders can choose optional riding modes Dynamic and Enduro along with Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) dynamic traction control and the banking capable ABS Pro.
The ADV equipped with a completely new instrument cluster design, consisting of an analogue tachometer and a multifunctional display, alongside a number of control lamps. optional equipment known as Connectivity, with a 6.5 inch full-colour TFT display. Integrating operation via the BMW Motorrad multi-controller. It also comes with connectivity options where phone and other media functions without having the need to connect phone.
