Breaking - Suzuki Gixxer 250 naked motorcycle coming to India in third quarter of 2019

At the launch of Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, the officials confirmed that the naked version of the aforementioned motorcycle - Suzuki Gixxer 250 will be launched in India before Diwali this year. As the family trait that we saw with the 155cc sibling, it was obvious that the naked version of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 was on its way to the Indian market to rival the Yamaha FZ 25, KTM 250 Duke and the Bajaj Dominar.

Mechanically, the motorcycle will share the same drivetrain and cycle parts with its fully faired sibling. The engine on offer will be the same 250cc oil-cooled single-cylinder that offers 26.5PS (produced at 9,000rpm) and 22.6Nm (produced at 7,500rpm). The engine will come mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Expect minimum body panels on the Gixxer 250 and as the naked theme suggests the kerb weight of the motorcycle is expected to be on the lower side than that of its faired sibling. The price of the naked motorcycle could be low as well - expected price Rs 1.55 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi.
