Confirmed: Ather 450X electric scooter deliveries to commence from November 2020
Bangalore based EV manufacturer Ather Energy has confirmed that deliveries of their flagship offering, the 450X that will commence from November 2020. The electric scooter will be available in ten cities as announced earlier this year, which includes Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Coimbatore. However, the first two cities to get the 450X will be Bengaluru and Chennai. Here's a quick look at our Ather 450X first ride review.
The company also mentions that it will be aggressively promoting the vehicle on-ground and begin test rides from October 2020 across all the markets. The brand will be partnering with premium partners across key markets to set up the Ather experience centers. As for public charging, Ather will be setting up its fast-charging network - Ather Grid across each city before delivery. Ather plans to set up 10-15 fast charging points across each city in Phase 1.
