Coronavirus impact: Audi announces free disinfection service for Audi customers fighting COVID-19 at ground zero
Audi has announced free disinfection & interior cleaning of cars for Audi customers who are helping in the battle against Coronavirus pandemic at the front line. The 'Salute to COVID-19 warriors' initiative has been implemented as a gesture of appreciation to all the essential workers who are putting their life on the line and working round the clock against the pandemic. This will include doctors, health workers, policemen and other government officials and volunteers who have stepped up to fight the battle against the Coronavirus.
All Audi customers who are helping in the fight against COVID-19 can redeem complimentary disinfection or cleaning of interiors, exterior cleaning and general check-up of their Audi, along with a courtesy car pick-up and drop facility.
The carmaker already announced an extension of warranty and service plans to keep their customers at ease during these unstable present conditions. All the customers with extended warranty and service package set to expire during the lockdown period of 15th March to 3rd May will get the opportunity to redeem those service after the lockdown is lifted.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, head of Audi India, said, "As we continue to battle this unprecedented crisis, we are pleased to announce that all Audi India dealerships across the country will prioritize vehicle servicing for essential workers. The most important focus for us has been people safety and we are honoured to be able to serve Audi customers who are 'COVID-19 Warriors' and are tirelessly working on the front lines against this pandemic."
