Hero Electric had a hunch in May regarding the hike in demand for personal means of transport and adoption of EVs. This was followed by the company offering discounts for all online bookings made between April 17 and May 15. Now, Hero Electric has rolled out the 'Keep your air as clean as this' campaign and it aims to take advantage of the rising demand for entry-level electric vehicles.

The discounts and other schemes aim to boost customer sentiment during these unprecedented times. And ever since the lockdown has been initiated, the pollution levels have gone down drastically. Hero Electric believes that people would want to retain the pollution levels of the lockdown period even as the nation begins to resume work and day-to-day functions in the post-lockdown world.

The company is offering lucrative deals like, every 50th customer who has booked a product can take it home for free. And the customers who have booked their e-scooter online can avail a cash discount of Rs 3,000 and will also be eligible for a lucky draw for 10 Glyde push scooters. Customers can book any model from the Hero Electric fleet for Rs 2,999 and a sale of any product via referrals makes the customer eligible for a voucher of Rs 1,000. Additionally, the company is offering a three-day "no questions asked return policy".

Around 300 dealerships of the company have resumed operations and they are also offering home delivery of the products. The company has started resuming operations in green and a few orange zones across the country.
