In terms of specifications, it comes loaded to the gills with a fully adjustable Ohlins front and rear suspension with 170mm of travel. The rear suspension is an Ohlins TTX36 unit. The Ducati Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak comes equipped with a homologated Ducati performance by Termignoni carbon-fibre silencer which gets a specially designed single tailpipe with a carbon-fibre sleeve.

In terms of features, it comes equipped with a full-TFT instrument panel whose intensity automatically changes as per the lighting conditions. The motorcycle riders can also adjust it as per their preferences. It offers four modes: Sport, Touring, Urban and Endure. There's also full-LED headlamps and full-LED front indicators.

On the crucial safety front, it offers an impressive amount of kit. The Ducati Safety Pack works in combination with Bosch 9ME ABS and Ducati traction control which ensures ideal distribution of brake force while preventing the wheels from locking. It stops the rear wheel from lifting under hard braking and lowers the risks of lowsides by restricting the maximum brake force.

The motorcycle comes with an electronic key, and its system can detect the key code within a two-metre range. The rider can bring the engine to life simply by pressing the start button. Another exciting bit is the Multistrada Link app which allows the rider to connect the motorcycle to a smartphone and record different aspects of each ride like speed, lean angle and fuel consumption. The data can be saved as maps and photos allowing one to view them later. It also gets cruise control.
