"I firmly believe that India is full of opportunities and a brand like Polaris has a tremendous potential to build upon. I was the first employee of Polaris in India and have started the operation right from the stage of getting the company incorporated. We started in the phase when off-roading culture was not popular. With innovative strategies and operational planning, we have come a long way in making Polaris a well known brand in India among enthusiasts. I am happy with what we have achieved as a team in India over the last decade. Having spent nearly ten years in building this organisation I have now decided to move on and pursue more challenging assignment. I wish the organization all the very best for the future", stated Pankaj Dubey to OVERDRIVE.

Pankaj has also confirmed to us that since he has been in the two-wheeler industry for a long period and that is an area of his expertise, he will be seen in a new role with a two-wheeler manufacturer in India. His resignation from Polaris is also to take time off from his professional routine and focus more on his personal life. However, in the coming weeks, there will be an announcement from Pankaj giving the details on the two-wheeler brand that he will be joining and also the role that he will play there, which could be in line of a national head for that brand.

In his previous assignments, Pankaj was with Hero Motors as Deputy General Manager, LML as Deputy General Manager, Intex as GM Sales and marketing for IT and Business Head Telecom & GM Sales & Marketing- IT, Yamaha India as National Business head and then joining Polaris in 2011 as Country Head and MD.
