June 2013 issue is out on stands now
That time of the month when our latest issue hits the stands has arrived. And just like the month before, we have a truckload of exclusives, reviews, comparos and features to fuel your need for speed for all of June.
It is the raining compact SUVs and no other car has been looked forward to so much as the Ford EcoSport (pronounced Echo-Sport). And we have driven it on Indian soil. Ford gave us a taste of the small 120PS 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine in the EcoSport and we are already smitten with it. Halley, who drove the EcoSport also tested the new BMW 7 Series. He also took a spin in Chevrolet's latest attempt at the MUV market, the Enjoy. What's more we have a mega comparo between all the players in the MUV segment, the Ertiga, Enjoy, Evalia, Innova, Quanto and Xylo.
Volkswagen has launched its fun, fast and tech laden hatchback, the Polo GT TSI in India and we have tested it. OVERDRIVE was Lamborghini's guest at their 50th anniversary celebrations held in Italy. Plus if you are in Italy, you don't come back without having a dekko at the biggest museum and factory there is, Ferrari's. Our European contributing editor Ray Hutton, meanwhile drives the gorgeous Jaguar F-Type and has been talking about it ever since.
Over to the motorcycles section then. Shumi gets astride the hotly anticipated KTM 390 Duke in Austria and has been raving about it to anyone who bothers to listen. We have also pitted the newest Ninja on the block, the 300 against the CBR250R and Hyosung GT250R. Ashok has got his 2002 Yamaha RX135 custom-built and you can read all about it in the magazine. Our FastBikes counterparts in the meanwhile have got their hands on the extremely capable 2013 Ducati Hypermotard.
The Fast & Furious' latest instalment will be out in theatres in a few days. And for diehard fans of the franchise, we have a surprise. We have an exclusive preview into what to expect from the movie and 50 free tickets to give away to you readers.
That's not all. We have all the happenings from the automobile sector and also the latest information from international and Indian motorsports. We also have a treasure trove of news from the motorcycle world. So what are you waiting for? Go, grab your copy today.
