Ford India introduce Sync with Ford Applink in the Ecosport

Ford India has just introduced its Sync with Ford Applink feature in the Ecosport, although, this will only be available in the top spec Titanium variant.

The feature was first seen in the 2014 Ford Fiesta. This award winning technology allows customers to access apps on their smartphone by simply giving out voice commands. According the Ford India, the feature ensures that a driver's hands stay on the wheel, aiding safer driving practices.

 Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, marketing sales and service at Ford India said, "Introduction of Ford Applink enhances the value proposition offered by the Ford EcoSport. Consumers today are leading an increasingly connected lifestyle and wish to stay up to date even while on the move. Ford AppLink addresses this unmet need and helps them stay connected without ever compromising on convenience."

The Applink is compatible with apps such as ESPN Cricinfo, MapMyIndia and Glympse. Ford India says that it is now working with other app partners in order to add more software to the list of the ones that are currently compatible with Ford's Applink.
