Honda Amaze anniversary edition launched in India
To celebrate the sales of 80,000 Amaze cars in the first year of model launch, Honda Cars India has introduced a anniversary edition. The Honda Amaze anniversary edition gets front, side and rear under spoiler as also a boot spoiler. There are also door visors and an exhaust pipe finisher. Inside premium upholstery has been used along with wooden finish on the dashboard. Other than these, the Amaze will also have an anniversary edition emblem. Honda will be offering the anniversary edition Amaze in both petrol and diesel variants in the VX and S trims. Honda has priced the anniversary edition Amaze at Rs 71,861 over the corresponding regular VX (Rs 7.08 lakh for petrol, Rs 8.03 lakh for automatic and Rs 7.91 for diesel) and S (Rs 6.07 lakh for petrol, Rs 7.14 lakh for AT and Rs 7.04 lakh for diesel) trims. All prices are ex-Mumbai. We are awaiting clarity from Honda about the availability of the anniversary editions.
The Amaze comes with both petrol and diesel variants- the gasoline is a 88PS 1.2l motor while the diesel is a 100PS 1.5l unit. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while only the petrol has an option of a 5-speed CVT.
