Hyundai Venue records sale of 1 lakh units
Hyundai Motor India has announced that the manufacturer has sold over 1 lakh units of the Venue since it was launched in May 2019. A press statement issued by the company mentioned that the car was the highest-selling compact SUV in the country from January to May this year.
The domestic sales of the car is around 97,400 units and there are 7,400 customers overseas. The car went through the BSVI transformation this year with a hike in price of Rs 15,000 to Rs 51,000, the base model of the car was priced at Rs 6.70 lakh and the top model is for Rs 11.50 lakh. The car is offered in eleven petrol and six diesel trims.
The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated, four-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission produces 84PS of power and 115Nm of torque. And the 1.4-litre diesel unit coupled to 6-speed gearbox makes 91PS of power and 220Nm of torque. The Venue is 3995mm long, 1770mm wide, 1590mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2500mm. It comes with Bluelink with 33 in-car connective features that include location-based services and AI-based language inputs with integrated sim card. Other features include cruise control, wireless charger, cooled glovebox, rear AC vents, reverse parking camera, Arkamys sound system, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and more.
