Image gallery: 2017 Volkswagen Polo
The all-new Volkswagen Polo that was unveiled last week has been garnering all the attention on the web. Based on the new A0 platform, this car is bigger and roomier, and has more efficient engines. All the engines are Euro-VI compliant and also make more power than before. Whether VW India will launch it or not isn't clear yet, but you can take a look at our extensive image gallery below.
The Polo is instantly recognisable as a Volkswagen. The sixth generation though is bigger and claims to be lighter as well
The new Polo is 81mm longer, 63mm wider and sits 7mm lower than the older car. The wheelbase is 93mm longer than before at 2,564mm, surpassing even the much bigger Golf's 2,511mm
There isn't much of a change at the rear of the car except for the slightly revised lights
This is the R-Line trim and has orange accents to complement the exterior colour. The minimal button approach from the older car is continued here too
The steering wheel is a flat-bottomed unit and houses the single button to access the meter console functions
There are lots of storage spaces in the new Polo
