TVS launched its new 110cc commuter, the Radeon in India, recently. Aimed at the millennials that reside in small-town India, the Radeon sits below the TVS' other 110cc offering, the Victor. TVS says that the Radeon has been designed to meet the needs of the aforementioned customer, which explains the wide seat and comfortable ergos. Priced at Rs 48,400, the Radeon offers good value. But, while we wait to test this new, 110cc commuter motorcycle, the image gallery below gives you an idea of what it's all about.

The TVS conforms to the styling norms in the segment. That said, the quality of plastics and the switchgear is good. Features such as the USB charger adds to the appeal of the Radeon

The plastic grip on the fuel tank is reminiscent of classic motorcycles. In fact, the Radeon looks quite retro. The chrome outline around the headlamp looks neat and so does the chrome silencer and grab rails

TVS says that special attention was lavished on the seat. The idea was to design a seat that was long and wide for riders of all shapes and sizes. The telescopic suspension and 5-step adjustable, twin shock absorbers have also been tuned to offer a good balance between ride quality and handling

The 109.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine develops 8.4PS at 7,000rpm and 8.7Nm at 5,000rpm. The claimed fuel economy is 69.3kmpl

The instrument cluster is another attractive feature of the Radeon, since it looks distinct. In keeping with the retro theme of the motorcycle, the Radeon has an analogue speedometre and fuel gauge. In addition, there are other tell-tale lights, including an Eco/power mode indicator and side stand down warning

The bike rides on 18-inch wheels, shod with tubeless tyres that are skewed towards durability. The Radeon also gets Synchronised Braking Technology or SBT as TVS calls it. The system, essentially, applies a small amount of front brake when the rider applies the rear brake
