Image Gallery: 2019 Honda CBR400R breaks cover internationally
The Honda CBR400R was unveiled globally at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. The bike goes up against the Kawasaki Ninja 400, 2019 Yamaha YZF-R3 and the KTM RC 390. Powering the bike is a newly developed 400cc, liquid-cooled engine, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Based on the chassis of the 2019 CBR500R, the bike also borrows some styling cues from it. The 2019 Honda CBR400R carries the same family design seen on the new CBR650R
The headlamps are aggressively designed and the same lines flow to the fairing
The rear carries an upswept design and houses a double barrel side slung exhaust
The 2019 Honda CBR400R is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster with a negative display
The revised styling makes the riding triangle more committed and aggressive
The supersport design of the 2019 Honda CBR400R encompasses a 400cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine
The engine produces 46PS of power and 37Nm of torque
The braking is done by a single disc unit with a combined anti-lock braking system (ABS) at both ends
The bike is equipped with a 120mm section tyre in the front and a 160mm tyre at the back
So far, there is no official word from Honda Motorcycles India about launching the 2019 Honda CBR400R
