The facelift Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV which made a global appearance last month gets the AMG treatment and the souped-up version - The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 was unveiled at the 2019 Shanghai Motorshow. Although it is unsure when the German carmaker will bring both the SUVs to India, we can expect the standard GLC to be brought to the Indian market by late 2019. The GLC 63 could soon appear in our markets by the first quarter of 2020.
The AMG GLC 63 gets a new fascia as compared to the standard SUV
To set them apart, the GLC 63 gets redesigned headlamp assembly which also has the Mercedes-Benz dubbed multi-beam feature
The tail lamps are restyled too to set it apart from the standard SUV
The AMG GLC 63 gets the signature pan-American grille
the SUV will come fitted with optional 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels
The cabin will have the AMG steering wheel and upholstery in magma grey or black with yellow contrast stitching
The GLC 63 will also get AMG specific functions with the MBUX (Mercedes Benz User Experience)
The AMG specific functions include - touchscreen display, accelerated voice control and optional gesture control
Powering the GLC 63 is a 4.0-litre V8 engine that churns out 482PS and 650Nm of torque
The AMG GLC 63 does a 0-100 kmph run in under four seconds and has a top speed of 250kmph
