The Benelli TRK 502 is an adventure-oriented touring motorcycle with a beefed up fairing up front and a tall visor to deflect the wind away from the rider. The engine is mounted on a trellis tubular frame and displaces 499.6cc in a parallel-twin layout. The engine produces 48PS and 46Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bike has a 20L fuel tank which in result will have a high fuel range for the long hauls. The TRK 502 comes with 17-inch alloy wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres. Last year in, Benelli had partnered with Hyderabad-based, Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) a subsidiary of Mahavir Group. Benelli India's present portfolio includes the 302R, TNT 300 and the TNT600i. All these motorcycles are assembled at the Gundlapochampally facility near Medchal. The design looks appealing and seems inspired by various larger capacity touring motorcycles.

In this particular angle, doesn't the Benelli TRK 502 look similar to the much..much larger BMW GS?

The Benelli TRK 502 comes powered by a 500cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI) and double overhead camshaft

Since the TRK 502 is more touring oriented, the wheels are both 17-inchers and made from aluminum alloy. It features 120/70-17 and 160/60-17 tyres

The TRK features a digital-analogue instrumentation cluster sitting behind a tall wind screen

According to its claimed fuel efficiency, the TRK is capable of 25.64kmpl. Couple that with its 20-litre tank and you have a 513km range on a full tank

Both the bikes, TRK 502 and the TRK 502X get a 50mm upside-down fork setup up front with a 320mm twin disc setup up front for the braking
