The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS was launched yesterday in New Delhi and while the car is now revelaed in all its glory, the design sketches from the development stage of the car are rather interesting. As you may be aware, the Grand i10 is sold as the i10 in the global market and is the successor to the erstwhile i10 tall-boy that was sold in India. The Grand i10 NIOS made its global dubut yesterday and will go to other markets as the third-generation Hyundai i10. We expect that car to be a marginaly different than Grand i10 NIOS with a narrower glasshouse courtesy of a pinched windowline. We also expect to see circular daytime running lamps upfront, much similar to the current Euro-spec second-gen i10. But what has our interest high is the rumoured 'i10 N'. The N pacakge stems from the motorsport division at Hyundai, which is responsible for Hyundai's rally operations. The N package on the i10 is remoured to be in the works and is expected to follow in the footsteps of the i30 N by adding a sportier bodykit, a 1.0 direct-injection petrol enigne and other performance parts to create a go-faster varaint of the supermini. Some of the concept drawings revealed yesterday hint towards it too - check out the sick rear diffuser and the twin-exhaust setup on some of them! Will Hyundai India make a Grand i10 N too? We are keeping our fingers crossed...
