The new-generation Mini Cooper Clubman All4 arrives in India on December 15, 2016. It is the largest car that Mini has ever built. The Mini Cooper Clubman All4 will be offered with features that are not usually seen in the brand's portfolio. This includes an electronic parking brake, electric seat adjustment and individual 'Mini Yours Interior' customisation option that provides illuminated door bezels.
We believe that the Mini Cooper Clubman All4 will be offered with a choice between 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. While there is no official word on the details, we expect Mini to bring in a spruced-up JCW version. The prices for the Cooper Clubman All4 will range between Rs 35-42 lakh. The Mini Cooper Clubman All4 does get the characteristic traits of the brand's design language
LED daytime-running lamps will be offered as standard
With a length of 4,253mm, width of 1,800mm, height of 1,441mm and a wheelbase of 2,670mm, it is significantly longer than the regular 4-door
The front and side profiles are still acceptable but the rear looks more Japanese than British
The split tailgate gives it a commercial feel. Notice the positioning of Mini logo below the left tail light
The cabin layout and arrangement looks similar to that of the 5-door version
The cabin comes with an all-black treatment while the buttons and knobs get silver accents
The longer wheelbase over the 5-door could make it more spacious; we will reserve our thoughts till we get our hands on the vehicle
The split gate gives access to the 360-litre boot space which can be further increased to 1,250 litres
Both versions are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor from the Cooper S that makes 192PS and 280Nm
The diesel trim comes equipped with a 1,995cc 4-cylinder motor that generates 190PS and 400Nm
