With a contribution of more than 42 percent and 11,000 units sold, the Seltos lead Kia India sales in September. Following the Seltos, Sonet and Carens made up almost 20 percent (5,233 unit sales) and 36 percent (9,291 unit sales) of the September 2022 sales, respectively.

With 333 units sold the month before, The Carnival also continued its strong run.

Kia India topped its CY21 total sales in just 9 months with record-breaking September 2022 sales, selling 1,92,024 vehicles overall. The business sold 1,81,583 units last year. The firm also reported a tremendous increase of 12.3 percent from Q2 CY22.

Commenting on the performance, Hardeep Singh Brar, Vice President & Head of Sales and Marketing, Kia India said, "We welcome festivity on a positive note, recording our highest ever monthly sales figure. We have been consistent with our sales in the entire CY22, which is 34% up from last year. Our customer base is increasing rapidly, showing our accuracy in understanding Indian consumers' needs. The recovery in sales is also a result of the easing supply chain constraints, which is good news for the industry. Not only Kia but the entire 4-wheeler industry has healthy sales in September to cheer about, and then the peak of the festivity is yet to come. We are experiencing increasing demand for our products around the festive season, thus continuing our growth trajectory till the end of CY2022."
