While everyone else was busy launching cars at the Shanghai Motor Show, Kia went one up and launched an entire brand. A result of a joint venture with Dongfeng and Yueda, Horki is aimed solely at the Chinese market. As part of the announcement Kia also unveiled a concept sedan which is just called the Horki Concept for now. There are no other details that have been released except that it is intended only for the Chinese market. However, we do know that it shares the Kia Forte/Cerato platform. Also, in case you were wondering how they came up with the name, it is from two Chinese characters 'Hor' and 'Ki' which together means 'China driving'.
