Indian two-wheeler major Bajaj Auto has joined forces with premium motorcycle brand Triumph to form an royalty based alliance wherein both the brands plan to retain their intellectual property rights. A non equities JV was announced two years ago, however the formal alliance announcement takes place today. It is being said that the first prototype motorcycle to come out of the alliance is already in the testing phase, with an expected launch in 2022.
