Royal Enfield is launching the Classic 500 Pegasus edition in India, a limited edition version of its Classic 500 motorcycle. Only 1000 units will be produced with 250 being designated for the Indian market. The limited edition motorcycle has been influenced by the Royal Enfield RE/WD 125 from WWII.

The Classic 500 Pegasus is available in the Service Brown colour and each motorcycle gets a serial number that's stencilled on the tank along with a Pegasus motif. Mechanically the bike remains unchanged from the standard Classic 500. It is powered by a 499 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine good for 27.5PS and 41.3Nm.

Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus launched in India at Rs 2.49 lakh, on-road Mumbai. The price includes a helmet, the canvas panniers and a Pegasus shirt. Registrations begin today and online bookings commence on June 10, 2018
