Live Updates: Vespa and Aprilia to launch new products in India
Details are scarce at the moment as the officials over at Piaggio are being tight-lipped about the product/s that they will launch in the country next. However, there have been talks of the Aprilia SR125 Storm, Race, or Carbon edition making their debut, as well as the something from Vespa, or some new paint options making it to India. The Vespa Notte scooter will likely be showcased as well. The Aprilia SR 125 race will be a slightly quicker version of the standard SR 125 with possibly some changes to the gearing. The standard Sr125 makes 9.65PS and 9.9Nm. The SR 125 Storm on the other will most like be an off-road oriented model.

The Aprilia SR 150 Race and select models from the Vespa family also get a new mobile app-based connectivity feature that offers GPS information regarding the scooter’s location, owner’s emergency contact details and also location of the nearest service centre.

The Aprilia SR 150 Race has been launched with a new RS-GP inspired colour scheme. It also gets new 14-inch alloys, adjustable suspension, a windscreen and a 220mm disc brake. Other additions are a digital console and a golden calliper. The Race is priced at Rs 80,211 ex-Pune
