Bengaluru has the maximum number of EVs on the streets, and is considered an EV-friendly market. Although 95 per cent of the charging for EVs is done at home by customers, Mahindra has installed around 100 charging units across the city. Mahindra claims strategic placement of these units, one every 5km. Places that have these charging stations include SBI branches, shopping malls, couple of garages, Mahindra dealerships, Mom & Me outlets and now the international airport.
