MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship: Round 4 to be held on September 5-6

The fourth round of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship will be held in Hyderabad on September 5 and 6. The 16th edition of the series kicked-off at Ahmedabad earlier this year, with subsequent rounds at Coimbatore and Chennai. Close to a 100 entries are expected at the fourth round which will be held at Hyderabad.

Riders like KP Aravind, Tanveer AW and Rugved Barguje, who have participated in Asian Supercrosses held in Sri Lanka and the UAE, will be taking to the track for this round of the Supercross Championship. And for riders below the ages of 15, there is the newly introduced Junior SX.

• SX 1 – Foreign Open, Group A, two/four-stroke (up to 250cc two-stroke and 500cc four-stroke)

• Junior SX - Open to Group A/B/C/D (up to 260cc)
• Indian Expert Class - Group B, two/four-stroke (up to 260cc)

Round # 4– HYDERABAD The MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2015 will be held in Hyderabad and will be the 4thround of the 6 round FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2015.The biggest off-road 2 wheeler National Racing Championship of 2015 was launched in Ahmedabad earlier this year and was followed by a round in Coimbatore and Chennai. Approximately 100 entries from all over the country are expected at the round 4 in Hyderabad. This event will be held in Hyderabad on the 05th&06th of September 2015 starting at 10 am at the D.A.M HIGH, Survey # 63, Road # 25, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. VENUES 2015: 1. R # 1 -AHMEDABAD 2. R # 6 - BANGALORE 'Supercross is a motorcycling sport that involves off-road motorcycles racing on artificially created dirt track consisting of steep jumps and obstacles' The 16th edition of the MRFMoGrip-FMSCI National Supercross championship has attracted almost 100 entries for each of the 6 rounds to be staged across the country. Supercross is gaining popularity in India, with close to twenty thousand spectators thronging each of the venues last year, leading to an increase in participation and growing involvement and support from corporate houses and media alike. MRF Tyre Limited is the title sponsor, TVS Motor Company, Sidvin Energy and IOC Servo are associate sponsors. Godspeed (Pune) is organizing the 6 round championship. KP Aravind (Team TVS, Bangalore), Tanveer AW, Rugved Barguje(Team TVS) are some of the Indian riders who have participated in recent Asian Supercross events in Sri Lanka and the UAE. Those will be the names to watch out for along with privateers Jignesh Pateland Jatin Jain (Nagpur), sure to be enthralling the spectators with their daredevil style. Rakesh, Jagdish, Suhail & Naresh are the force and will lead the battle in the 'Group C' races. The exciting JR. SX will have Yash & Rugved fighting for the lead. Close to 40 thoroughbred motocross motorcycles will be seen in action in the re-christened SX 1 and SX 2 categories, while the newly introduced Junior SX category is exclusively for riders below 15 years of age. The organizers have created a very demanding track, which will separate the boys from the men.
