Mumbai gets Minis first showroom in India
Mini has launched its entire range of cars in Mumbai. Unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo, the Mini has generated high interests from enthusiasts all over India. India is the 100th country for the Mini brand and all the models will come in via the CBU route with no current plans for production in India and hence it will be an expensive proposition. The range includes the Cooper â" Rs 25.5 lakh, Cooper S â" Rs 28.6 lakh, Cooper Convertible â" Rs 30.7 lakh, Cooper S Countryman â" Rs 32.8 lakh and Cooper S Countryman High â" Rs 35.9 lakh, ex-Mumbai.
Infinity Cars in Santacruz, Mumbai will be the first Mini showroom in the country. The next two showrooms will be in Delhi. The first cars will be delivered in May and Mini is looking to deliver 20 cars per month this year. Mini is looking at five dealerships by the end of the year.
