myAudi connected application along with AR and VR elements at showrooms launched in India

German car manufacturer Audi has become the firs luxury car brand in the country to introduce cloud based connected application service, priced at Rs 19,999. For that price, you get three years data plan, three years of cloud subscription, three years warranty and the Audi Concierge Service. This was announced at the inauguration of the brand's latest dealership opening in Gurugram, called Kristan Audi.

The new dealership has a 21 car display which also includes 14 pre-owned Audi cars, spread across an area of 10,500 sq. ft.. Audi has also introduced Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) elements at Audi Gurugram showroom that
lets the customer experience the look and feel of the Audi car being configured. The service facility in Gurugram is spread over a total area of more than 48,000 sq. ft., boasting of 33 bays and houses exclusive state-of-the-art body shop facilities.

"Digitalization is one of our key pillars and the future for us. The Digitalization initiatives introduced today are designed to enhance the customer's experience through all his stages of interaction across brand touch points. With the Virtual Reality solution, customers can get an extremely realistic experience of their individually configured car, down to the last detail. Our Augmented Reality lets customers view their favourite Audi car on a Digital device, in miniature form or actual size, making the Audi cars appear in their own garage or anywhere else. The Audi Shop brings a slice of Audi Life to the Audi brand enthusiasts for owning the same world-class merchandise available globally and be a part of the Audi family even before buying their favorite Audi. We are confident that with our new Digitalization initiatives and added features, the customer will truly experience the 'Vorsprung durch Technik' of the brand," said Rahil Ansari, Head Audi India.

Showcased at the event was Audi's first-ever pure-electric offering, the e-Tron which will be launched in India later this year. "We are proud to showcase the Audi e-tron in Delhi NCR region for the first time here as the region not only leads in luxury car sales but also in luxury trends and adapting to new technology. Our limited showcase so far and internal assessment has shown palpable excitement amongst Audi enthusiasts and we are confident that Audi e-tron will roll into India towards the latter part of the year and will be amongst great successes," commented, Ansari
