New car discounts in Mumbai for third week of October

It is that time of the year when new car dealers don't have to try too hard to make a sale. The festive season is considered to be an auspicious time. So, people usually prefer to bring home a new set of wheels during this time period. This also means that it is the perfect time for dealers and manufacturers to aim for new sales records. As a result, dealers across car brands are offering tempting deals. Here's a compilation of the discounts being offered by individual carmakers.

Datsun

On the Datsun Go+, a cash discount of Rs 22,000 is being offered.

BMW

Currently, BMW dealers are offering attractive discounts on a couple of models. On the fun to drive BMW 3 series, a cash discount of Rs 5 lakh is being offered. On the 5 series luxury sedan, a cash discount of Rs 6 lakh is being offered. On the BMW X3, buyers can get a higher cash discount of Rs 6 lakh. On the bigger X5 SUV, BMW showrooms are offering a cash discount of Rs 8 lakh.

Hyundai

On the Hyundai Eon, showrooms are offering a cash discount of Rs 50,000. If you are a government or corporate employee, then the dealer will offer an additional cash discount of Rs 7,000. On the Hyundai i10 and the Grand i10, only a cash discount of Rs 40,000 is up for grabs. On the Elite i20, Hyundai showrooms are offering an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000.

On their compact sedan Xcent, a total benefit of Rs 47,000 is being offered. It includes a cash discount of Rs 15,000, exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and a discount of Rs 7,000 for government employees.

Skoda Yeti vs Honda CRV vs Hyundai Santa Fe (12)

On the Hyundai Verna, a total benefit of Rs 1 lakh can be availed which includes a cash discount of Rs 30,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. It even includes a loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 10,000.

On the Santa FE SUV, one Hyundai dealer is offering a total benefit of Rs 2 lakh. It includes a cash discount of Rs 1 lakh and an exchange bonus of Rs 1 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki

On the Alt0 800 and the Alto K10, Maruti dealers are offering a total benefit of Rs 35,000 including a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. On the Maruti Wagon R, a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000 are being offered. One of the highest selling cars in its segment, the Maruti Swift is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.

Maruti showrooms are offering a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 on the Celerio petrol. In comparison, the Celerio diesel is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 25,000 cash discount and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000.ertiga mpv,

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga SHVS ZDi (5)

On the Dzire compact sedan and Ertiga MPV, a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 are being offered.

Mercedes-Benz

On the GLA-Class and CLA-Class, Mercedes-Benz showrooms are offering a cash discount of Rs 4 lakh. The C-Class is one of the highest selling cars in its segment. And if you are planning to buy one then now is a good time as showrooms are offering a cash discount of Rs 3 lakh. On the E-Class luxury sedan a cash discount of Rs 4.5 lakh is being offered.

Nissan

Nissan dealers are offering substantial cash discounts only on select stock. One dealer is offering a cash discount of Rs 1.5 lakh on 2016 stock of the Nissan Sunny. On the Micra and Terrano, showrooms are only offering free first year insurance.

Skoda

On the Skoda Rapid, dealers are offering a cash discount of Rs 70,000. Skoda has also introduced a scheme which requires buyers to make a minimum down payment of Rs 3.5 lakh. And they start paying EMI's from June 2017 onwards. Also, buyers can avail of a loan of Rs 6.5 lakh from Volkswagen finance at an interest rate of just four per cent! On all Skoda models, the company is offering four years extended warranty and four years road side assistance as standard.
