LMP race car maker Radical is out with its latest creation, the new SR1. The youngest brother of the much acclaimed SR3 will start at about Rs 26 lakh, excluding duties. Powering the SR1 is a Suzuki sourced 4-cylinder 1.3-litre engine which has been fine tuned to produce 213PS of power and 176Nm of torque. Putting all that power to the road is a six-speed sequential gearbox.
Handling the braking duties are 240mm 4-pot ventilated discs. Safety measures include an integrated fire extinguisher, FIA approved roll cage and race-spec harnesses. Radical has kitted the car with Dunlop wet, slick and road tyre options. A Quaife ATB differential ensures that things stay under control at the road and race track.
