Harley-Davidson Street 750 Police

The Gujarat Police is the first department in the country to induct a high performance motorcycle into its fleet. The department will deploy the Harley-Davidson Street 750s for quick response duties including emergency situations. The motorcycles will also be used as pilot vehicles while escorting the convoy of senior ministers and other public figures.

Pranav Nanda, dealer principal, Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson said, "We are proud to add these Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycles to the Gujarat Police arsenal. The Street 750 not only addresses the police department's need of a performance motorcycle in challenging situations but also provides great confidence and manoeuvrability in urban conditions."

Police departments across the country employ motorcycles such as the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 200, Pulsar 220, Avenger 200 and a range of Royal Enfields. By adding the Harley-Davidson Street 750 to its fleet, the Gujarat Police department would have the speed to catch up to modern day motorcycles and cars. The Street 750 is powered by the newly developed Revolution X engine that develops 60Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. We hope other police departments in the country follow suit and induct performance motorcycles and cars to chase down speeding criminals and even breakers of traffic rules.
