Nissan reopens service centres in Chennai to cater to flood-affected customers

Nissan India has reopened all its service centres in Chennai for customers' cars that have been damaged by the recent floods. The carmaker has reached out to over 8,000 of its customers through social media, SMS and emails to inform them of the reopening of their workshops and has also given tips on how to avoid damages that are not covered by insurance. Nissan has also set up a toll-free helpline number (0124-6628111) for easier communication.

Arun Malhotra, the managing director at Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd said, "At Nissan, we are aware of the difficulties faced by people in Chennai due to unprecedented rains. We are taking all possible steps to reach out to our customers, employees and partners, and support them in getting back to their normal life and routine."

Apart from that, Nissan dealers have been running mobile units to attend to customers along with additional technicians provided by the company. Nissan has also shifted the parts supply priority to Chennai and announced that the company will organise a service camp for its customers in Chennai, where there will be a check-up of the car and discounts on Nissan accessories.
