Piaggio introduces the new Ape Xtra Dlx in India

Piaggio Group's Indian arm, Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited has just launched the new Ape Xtra Dlx, a revamped version of its LCV, the Ape. The company says that the new cargo carrier is designed to meet "changing customer needs".

Piaggio says that changes include a smart dashboard, new handle bar switches and new headlamp design. The company also adds that the sheet metal body adds strength to the structure and the new paint treatment prevents rusting and hence improves the durability of the vehicle.
