Royal Enfield pulls the plug on Bullet Trials 350 and 500
Bullet Trials 350 and 500 discontinued in India. The bike was launched in March 2019 and it could not make a better case for itself in terms of numbers. Since the BS6 transition is about to kick off in April 2020 and the entire fleet of Royal Enfield is being upgraded to meet the stringent emission norms, the Trials 350 did not receive any upgrade due to its low sales.
The bike shared its tank, suspension, side panels and the engine with its Bullet cousins. It was introduced as bikes that honoured the heritage of Royal Enfield Trials bikes of the 40s and 50s. The bike retained the silhouette of its siblings but it could do a lot more.
The bike had chopped fenders, upswept exhaust and large dual-purpose wheels. It came with disc brakes for both wheels with ABS, a 280mm disc upfront and a 240mm disc at the rear along with telescopic suspension at the front and twin shock absorber for the rear.
It was powered by a 346cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox that made a power of 20PS and 28Nm of torque. The 350 Trials was priced at Rs 1.62 lakh and the 500 Trials were for Rs 2.07 lakhs.
